First and foremost, its Kaheas birthday. She is 19. Go flood her inbox and front page with well wishes. I have a gift for her but cant show a picture of it till she gets it in the mail ^^
Before I get into the personal stuff (which you arent interested in anyway) Ill start with what some people have been asking me about. Recently people have sent me notes or comments asking me if Ill review their comic or some one elses comic. Yes and no. If you really want to receive a critical review, I will do one for whoever wants. If its just one or two, Ill throw it in my journal somewhere. If I get enough, maybe Ill make it a separate journal. Be warned, however, that I will be as critical as always. If you ask for a review just to get attention, I should also tell you that Im not a very well known person on DA, so aha! Your plan will fail. Sorry. And Im not doing it for attention either, I am certainly not the end-all be-all critic. I just enjoy doing reviews, and a lot of people seemed a bit itchy to have their own work reviewed. So many people complain about wanting critique, but never take the steps to achieve them. Please remember that if you reply here asking for me to critique your comic, the critique will be posted in my journal, AKA: viewed publicly. I dont have a lot of watchers so it wont be that big of a deal, and hey, it may just give you a little boost in readers. However, the adverse is also true, it may send some negative attention your way. Youve been warned.
However, I wont review comics that you ask me to review if its not yours. What you can do, is ask that person if they want to have their comic critiqued, and have them send me a note or reply here. Id also reaaally love to review some short stories but, Im almost convinced that outside of myself and a small handful of raconteurs, DA doesnt have any patron writers. What a tragedy.
Now onto the personal stuff (the exit is to your right, thank you for reading) Ill probably take Cryptic Allusions offline in about a week or two, so for those of you who want to read it (Im only fooling myself I suppose), better do it quick or save it to your computers. Im supposed to be looking into publishers but, I cant help but say I am daunted by it. My writing is inherently flawed and Im in no way convinced thats it marketable material. Either way, its taking up space in my gallery, and if I ever actually follow through with getting it published, I will have to take it offline. And of course, If publication means that the comic will have to stop, I will not seek publication.
Im at a rather interesting crossroads in my life, as Im moving away from the idea of majoring in Biology, to major in English/Literature as a teaching degree. I feel that this is where I more naturally belong, and I also feel that Im lacking much of a choice.
On top of that, its just a rather difficult time in general here. But I suppose its a similar song for near every person out there right about now.
Final note (for those of you who made it this far): if I did another article similar to the Supercritic ones ([link], [link], [link] , what subject would you like to see? Please make suggestions, Id love to hear them.

It would be really funny to read your film reviews. considering that most films are utter crap...lol
So if you have the time, i'd like to see what you think of it. [link]
I have a short story you could review if wanted. I would have a lot more considering I'm planning a book of them for my one group of characters (for funzies mainly, not destined for publication) but with my comic in the way it seems to be neglected. I still need to finish chapter 2 of the second story. Rather a shame as writing has been a big passion of mine. Despite how much I fail at grammar. :<
I do manage to have one full one up though (it has 4 chapters in all):

My writing skills suck major eggs though.
As for comic critiquing, you can do TS if you'd like. I wouldn't mind. Though I personally feel it is so bad it doesn't deserve much of a review.
Best of luck with Cryptic Allusions! I'll see if I can take a quick snippets of read before it is taken off
Biology sounds like a great subject! I've been rethinkng my future plans as well. Graphic Design is currently way too competitive and full to burst.
