The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Really I'm not. Physically anyway. I've just been, incredibly lazy as of late. Well, that's not entirely true. Actually, I've been quite absorbed in writing and have been making great stride in my new novel, so I've sort of been taking advantage of this. My mind is rather, one track. It cannot focus on multiple creative tasks, which is why I haven't gotten around to doing much for my OCT entry and doing the reviews (which I haven't forgotten about). Actually, I do have the first draft of my OCT entry, but I've decided that I won't upload my pages until a few days before the judging starts.

Also, for those waiting on icons, haven't forgotten you either. I just wasn't...expecting so many responses at once

Currently, I have 9 or 10 in the waiting list, 18 completed, and a few no-replies. So it seems I'll be doing 28 out of the 34 entries (counting tag-teams) This is a considerable number and my eyes are at the point of bleeding. They require a little recovery time, but don't worry. I'll get back to them after my writing spree ends.

...and if you wanted to read+comment my new work, that would be amazing.
